The Importance of Logging your Scores
Hey MPCF fam! Let’s chat about something super important – logging our scores! First and foremost, lets start by saying, the benefits of logging your numbers far exceeds anything that has to do with your final placement on the leaderboard. We know, it is hard not to play the comparison game, even in class it can be a real challenge to not notice what the person next to you is doing, but what if we shift from “oh, I can’t do that” to “that’s my next goal.” Logging your scores can help
Here are 3 REASONS why it’s worth jotting down those numbers and recoding your journey:
- Challenge and Accountability | We all love a bit of healthy competition, but remember, your worth isn’t tied to your ranking. Whether you’re first or last, showing up and giving it your all is what counts. So, don’t stress about where you stand—focus on your progress and how far you’ve come.
- **Tracking Your Progress:** Sometimes it’s hard to see if & how much we’re improving, right? That’s where logging your scores comes in handy. When you jot down those weights going up or your times getting faster, it’s like having a little journal of your victories. It’s awesome to look back and see how much you’ve grown!
- **Community Support & Encouragement** CrossFit is all about community, and logging scores is a great way to cheer each other on. It doesn’t matter if you’re lifting heavy or still mastering the basics—every effort deserves a high-five.
